FoI Consultancy
The right to request information held by public authorities under the Freedom of Information Act (FOI) and Environmental Information Regulations (EIR), known as Right to Know, came into force in January 2005.
Although our research indicates its impact has been minimal at the onset, once FoI and EIR are understood by the general public, the task of providing information could be a sizable administration function. As such, Public sector organisations are well advised to harvest and provide as much information as possible within their schema, thereby minimizing administration costs at a later date.
Harlequin Solutions specialise in assisting public sector organisations in developing their FoI web strategy, better enabling them to make informed choices in the selection and deployment of Content Management, Document Management, Electronic Forms Processing and Customer Relations Management (CRM) to meet their eGov obligations.
