NHS implement Punch for Intranet and Extranet
Worcester NHS have selected Punch CMS as their intranet and extranet content management application. After several months of evaluating its requirements and researching the current market place, Harlequin Solutions were finally selected to implement a large scale pilot project. This consists of 4 local intranets all interconnected to a countywide extranet through NHS Net.
It is estimated that a large community of several thousand users will be commited to publishing information to each local intranet.
Intranets for Wyre Forest (PCT), Redditch & Bromsgrove (PCT),
Worcestershire Acute and South Worcester will all publish information
to a local intranet as well as push information to a global
countywide extranet.
The full project cycle will take Harlequin Solutions and the NHS
Trusts six months to implement and make live, with Wyre
Forest launching first.
